John Lanyon – CFA

John is responsible for managing relationships with clients, the investment community, and the International Arkios network. As a corporate financing and execution specialist, John is involved with all Arkios clients. In addition, John is a Partner at Bridge & York Capital Partners, a specialist asset-backed-finance firm.

In the past two years he has worked on deals in industries as diverse as the security, financial services, engineering, O&G services and healthcare, covering companies and investors across the UK, Europe, Middle East (including Iraq and Afghanistan) and India. This transaction work has involved private equity, pre-IPO fundraising, asset managers and corporate M&A. The key link being that if a company and a deal can be understood, and be attractive, then a solution can be found.

Before Arkios, John was involved in providing capital markets advice to listed clients, and in this capacity worked on over 50 IPO (including privatisations) and public market M&A transactions, including London Official List, AIM and Luxembourg Stock Exchanges. As an extension to this, in 2008 John was one of the founding members of a small-cap corporate broker for AIM companies.

John is a Member of the CFA Society of the UK, an Associate of the Securities and Investment Institute and holds a BSc in Economics & Finance from Loughborough University. He is also an active member of the Research Community of the Alzheimer’s Society.
